Vista, California – March 6, 2015. Meyers Fozi, LLP attorneys Neal Meyers and Golnar Fozi successfully defended the Rincon del Diablo Water District and a Board Member in a lawsuit filed by the Water District’s former General Manager. The General Manager alleged that the Water District retaliated against him and constructively discharged him because he reported or opposed conduct and communication of a sexual nature by a Board Member. He also claimed that the Board Member made false representations about him to prospective employers in order to prevent him from securing subsequent employment. After several days of testimony, the jury deliberated for approximately 35 minutes before returning a defense verdict on all counts. The General Manager was represented by attorneys Jon Vanderpool and Jon Cadieux of the law firm of Smith Steiner Vanderpool & Wax.
