San Diego, California – March 15, 2016. On March 15, 2016, Carlsbad attorneys Jeremy Dwork and Golnar Fozi obtained a jury verdict in favor of their client, West Coast Cabling, Inc. The trial arose from allegations that defendants Xpedient Communications, Inc., Douglas Catania, John Zinn and Rebecca Bodemann had breached a 2013 injunction and settlement agreement that Mr. Dwork and Ms. Fozi secured for their client. The injunction, in particular, prohibited defendants from soliciting or pursuing customers or employees of West Coast Cabling.
At trial, Mr. Dwork and Ms. Fozi presented evidence that suggested defendants had violated the settlement agreement and injunction more than 100 times, and had caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages. After all parties rested, the jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of West Coast Cabling, awarding the company more than $325,000 in lost profits.
